Abstract:

Provided are a flavor sheet having improved surface roughness, a smoking article comprising same, and respective methods for producing same. The method for producing the flavor sheet, according to some embodiments of the present disclosure, may comprise the steps of: preparing a sheet composition by blending a hydrocolloid material, a solvent, a powder-type material, and a flavor; and drying the prepared sheet composition. The powder-type material improves the surface roughness of the flavor sheet and thus may ultimately increase compatibility with a cut tobacco-type cigarette material.
