Abstract:
A flexible boot for a constant-velocity universal joint comprising attachment parts to partner members at both ends thereof, and having a bending part that absorbs deformation accompanying operation of the constant-velocity universal joint provided between both attachment parts, said flexible boot being composed of a rubber material mixing 50-80 parts by weight of HNBR whose acrylonitrile quantity is 15-21 wt% and 20-50 parts by weight of EPDM, and having an elastic recovery of 18% or greater at -40°C in a TR test.
