Abstract:
A flexible display device, comprising: a flexible display panel that may bend along a bending axis; and a supporting backplate that is disposed on one side of the flexible display panel and that is located on the outer side of the flexible display panel when same is bent. The supporting backplate comprises a supporting area and an extending area that is located on two opposite sides of the bending axis and that is adjacent to two ends of the supporting area. When the flexible display device is in a flat state, the difference between the length of the supporting backplate and the length of the flexible display panel in the direction perpendicular to the bending axis is greater than or equal to a first threshold. The flexible display device in the present application can reduce the risk of components peeling when bent and can guarantee the service life of a product.
