Abstract:
Provided is a flexible meshing gear device with a low moment of inertia. The flexible meshing gear device (1) is provided with: a vibration generating member shaft (10) having a vibration generating member (13); an externally-toothed gear (21) flexibly deformed by the vibration generating member (13); internally-toothed gears (22, 23) that mesh with the externally-toothed gear (21); and a vibration generating member bearing (30) disposed between the vibration generating member (13) and the externally-toothed gear (21). The peripheral surface of the vibration generating member (13) forms a rolling surface on which a rolling member (31) of the vibration generating member bearing rolls. The vibration generating member shaft (10) has shaft parts (11, 12) that are separate bodies from the vibration generating member shaft (10) and coupled with the vibration generating member (13) in the shaft direction, the shaft parts (11,12) being formed from a material having a density lower than that of the vibration generating member (13).
