Abstract:
Provided is a flexible peristaltic robot with a built-in bidirectional air pump for the self-regulation of an airflow, the robot comprising a head-end balloon (7), a telescopic balloon (9), a tail-end balloon (1), a power source module (12), a control module (11), and bidirectional air pumps (3, 8, 10). According to the robot, the air pump is arranged inside the robot without the need for an external air pipe or an external air pump supplying air or discharging air, thereby solving the problem of the flexibility of the motion of a balloon-type peristaltic robot being low, thus improving the flexibility of the robot.
