Abstract:
Provided are a flexographic printing plate with which it is possible to minimize bouncing when the tip of the image part of the printing plate comes into contact with a material to be imprinted and to print an image devoid of unevenness. Also provided is a method for manufacturing a flexographic printing plate. A region, extending 0.5 to 5 mm from the front tip side of the image part in the printing direction is a lower layer region of lower height than the image part outside the region. The height of the lower layer region decreases gradually towards the non-image part in the direction orthogonal to the front-tip-side edge of the image part.
