Abstract:
This flight control method is for a flight vehicle provided with a flight driving mechanism, a control means, and a positioning means capable of using a satellite positioning system. This flight control method involves: setting in advance positional information (A, B, C, D) such as latitudes and longitudes of an area where the flight vehicle flies; causing the flight vehicle to automatically move to at least one position (A) in the positional information while using the positioning means, and causing the flight vehicle to perform hovering above the place; thereafter, manually causing the flight vehicle to fly to a place (P) above an actual land corresponding to the at least one position (A) and causing the flight vehicle to perform hovering above the place; acquiring positional information (A'), on the satellite positioning system, regarding the place of hovering while using the positioning means; calculating a difference between the positional information (A') and the positional information (A) corresponding thereto; correcting the remaining positional information (B, C, D) by using the calculated difference; and causing the flight vehicle to fly in accordance with remaining positional information (B', C', D') obtained by the correction.
