Abstract:
The present invention has a warhead tail in which a low-specific-gravity metal material having the length and volume, which are one half or more of a full length (L) of warhead, is included such that the center of gravity (cg) of the warhead is at a warhead head part so as to reduce the yaw angle of the warhead, thereby reducing a precessional motion of the warhead during flight and having excellent flight stability. A conventional warhead has the center of gravity at a warhead tail part (C-100), and thus promotes flight stability due to rotational power with respect to a predetermined-distance flight, but the warhead tail part is gradually overturned at a predetermined distance in which a flying speed is reduced, such that the frontal resistance thereof is further increased, and thus the range thereof is reduced and accuracy is further lowered. In order to improve the problems above, the predetermined volume of an intermediate body of the warhead is filled with a metal material having low specific gravity so as to move the center of gravity to the head part, thereby reducing the yaw angle, a precessional rotary motion is remarkably reduced so as to reduce the frontal resistance while the flight proceeds, destructive power is increased with a minimum area in which the warhead finally comes in contact with a target, and an overturn is prevented during flight so as to increase accuracy and destructive power and extend the range. The warhead of the present invention has the extended range, the improved accuracy, the increased destructive power, and excellent stopping power, and simultaneously improves manufacturability and further increases warhead performance since the warhead can be manufactured only by impressing, forging, drawing and assembling a warhead core body, the intermediate body, and a jacket part separately from each other.
