Abstract:
Provided are: a flight vehicle 1 with which it is possible to efficiently lift an airframe 8 having a small aspect ratio and no wings, and to stably fly at low altitudes, using aerodynamic lift and the ground effect even at comparatively low speeds; and a high-speed traffic system that uses this flight vehicle. The flight vehicle 1, which travels in flight by means of aerodynamic lift and the ground effect over a travel road 2 having a road surface 3 and side walls 4, has a propulsion device 16 provided to a fuselage 5 having an upwardly convex top surface 5a along the direction of travel, depressurization members 11 extending from the sides of the airframe 8 toward the travel road 2 are provided so as to restrict the upward flow of air from the bottom of the airframe 8 having a vertical tail assembly 6 and a horizontal tail assembly 7 provided in the rear, the rising air flow from the sides of the airframe 8 is restricted to maintain the pressure difference between the top and bottom of the airframe 8, and the airframe 8 is flown using aerodynamic lift and the ground effect even at comparatively low speeds.
