Abstract:
A float type check valve 1 comprises: a cylindrical retaining member 10 that is fixed to a part in which same is to be installed in a state extending in the vertical direction; and a valve mechanism 20 that has a valve seat member 21 formed into a cylinder shape extending vertically and provided with a liquid flow through hole 22 penetrating in the vertical direction, a float 26 provided downstream of the valve seat member 21 to open and close the flow through hole 22 by seating into and separating from the valve seat member 21, and an accommodation unit 30 accommodating the float 26, and that is provided inside the retaining member 10, wherein the valve mechanism 20 is configured so as to be removable from inside the retaining member 10 by way of rotating the valve mechanism 20. The valve mechanism 20 has a tool engagement unit 40 that is formed protruding from the top face 23 of the valve seat member 21 and that rotates the valve mechanism 20 by way of engaging with and being rotated by a tool on the outer circumference side.
