A floating wind turbine provided with an active ballast device. The floating wind turbine comprises: a supporting column (3) for mounting a wind power generator unit (1); floating columns (2), the floating columns (2) being provided with first ballast cavities capable of containing liquid, the floating columns (2) being distributed in a circumferential direction of the supporting column (3), and the first ballast cavities of adjacent floating columns (2) being brought into communication with each other by means of first connecting channels (6); first driving members (4), each of the first connecting channels (6) being provided with a first driving member (4) for providing power in two directions; and a control system, wherein the control system, by controlling the first driving members (4), controls the flow direction and flow rate of the liquid in two first ballast cavities brought into communication with the first driving members (4).
