Abstract:
Provided is a flocculant injection control device that can, when injecting two or more flocculants, accurately control the injection volume of each flocculant. A first flocculant is added to a first flocculation tank 3 by a first chemical feed device 4. A detection signal from a first flocculation state monitoring sensor 5 is input into a controller 6 and the first chemical feed device 4 is controlled. A second flocculant is added to a second flocculation tank 8 by a second chemical feed device 9. A detection signal from a second flocculation state monitoring sensor 10 is input into the controller 6 and the second chemical feed device 9 is controlled. The flocculation state monitoring sensors 5, 10 have light emitting units that irradiate laser light toward a liquid for flocculation treatment, and light receiving units in which the optical axis of received light is orthogonal to the optical axis of the emitted light from the light emitting units, and the flocculation state monitoring sensors determine the flocculation state in the flocculation tank from changes over time in a scattered light intensity signal.
