Provided is a flocculating sedimentation device that can be easily mounted on a truck, etc., and transported. Raw water is introduced into a flocculation reaction tank 11. An inorganic flocculating agent, a pH-adjusting agent, and a cationic polymer flocculating agent are added to the raw water and the mixture is stirred by a stirrer 15, resulting in a flocculation reaction liquid. The flocculation reaction liquid flows out onto an advection tray 17. An anionic polymer flocculating agent is added to the flocculation reaction liquid. Then, the flocculation reaction liquid is fed in a tangential direction into an expanded diameter part 18A of a center well 18, and caused to flow out from a distributor 19 on the trailing side with respect to the direction of rotation thereof. The treated water which has passed through a sludge blanket S is caused to rise within a sedimentation tank 12 and flow into a trough 25 from a V notch 25a, and extracted from the flocculating sedimentation device 1 through an extraction pipe 26. Sludge is discharged to an extraction port 30 from a sludge-receiving tank 13 by a rake board 35.
