Abstract:
The present invention relates to a flood protection apparatus capable of protecting an electric switch box from a flood. The flood protection apparatus is characterized by being installed on a predetermined installation surface and coupled with and fixed to an electric switch box that controls power supplied to electrical equipment, such that an anti-flood cover having an open bottom covers the electric switch box and a space for maintaining air pressure is formed between the electric switch box and the anti-flood cover. Thus, if the bottom portion of the anti-flood cover becomes submerged in rising water during a flood, the inside of the anti-flood cover is sealed by air and internal pressure is applied so that the water cannot further rise into the inner space of the anti-flood cover, and thus submersion of the electric switch box is prevented.
