Abstract:
A floor crossmember 1 according to the present invention is provided in a car body structure configured to comprise a floor 3, a pair of side sills 5 provided at both ends of the floor 3 in the lateral direction of the car body and extending in the longitudinal direction of the car body, a floor tunnel 7 located in a central part of the floor 3 in the lateral direction of the car body and extending in the longitudinal direction of the car body, and a floor frame 9 extending in the longitudinal direction of the car body between the floor tunnel 7 and the side sills 5 and secured to the underside of the floor 3, the floor crossmember 1 being configured to be secured to the side sills 5 at one end and secured to the floor tunnel 7 at the other end on the upper surface of the floor 3 and to be disposed to intersect the floor frame 9 in a plan view, the floor crossmember 1 comprising: a hat cross-section member 11 which has a top plate 11a, vertical walls 11b, and flanges 11c; a resin 13 affixed or applied to the inner and/or outer surface of the hat cross-section member 11; and a reinforcing plate 15 laid out to cover the resin 13 and bonded to the resin 13.
