Abstract:
The present invention relates to a flow control valve. The flow control valve comprises: a casing having an inlet and an outlet which are open in opposite directions and allow the passage of a fluid, and closed chambers which are provided between the inlet and the outlet and face each other at a distance from each other; a pair of disk pieces, each having a semicircular shape, which stand by while being accommodated in the respective closed chambers and, upon operation, move into a flow path between the inlet and the outlet and join each other, thereby blocking the flow of the fluid; a pair of rotary arms which are fixed to the respective disk pieces and extended to the outside of the casing and intersect with each other; a center pin which is installed in the area of the intersection of the rotary arms and serves the role of a rotation shaft when the rotary arms perform a crossing motion; and a drive part which is connected to extended end parts of the rotary arms and allows the rotary arms to perform the crossing motion, such that the disk pieces join each other and take on the shape of a circular disk, or are separated from each other and retract to the closed chambers.
