Title:
FLP RECOMBINASE ACTIVATED BY STIMULATION, AND USE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/125072
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a Flp recombinase activated by stimulation and, more specifically, to: a Flp recombinase in which each fragment of a Flp recombinase split into two fragments is fused with a stimulus-induced dimerized protein, which binds in response to a stimulus, such that when a specific stimulus is applied, reversible activity is exhibited due to the binding of the stimulus-induced dimerization protein; and a use thereof. The activity of a Flp recombinase according to the present invention is regulated by a specific stimulus to allow gene expression to be be regulated according to target sites and locations, and thus Flp recombinase is useful for genetic manipulation in experimental animals.
