Abstract:
Provided is a joint made of resin, wherein a decrease in surface pressure on a sleeve surface is suppressed and good sealing properties are maintained over a long period. This fluid channel joint (1) for use in an automobile comprises: a joint body (4) formed in a long, narrow cylindrical shape; a sleeve (5) formed in a cylindrical shape, one end of which can be inserted into another end of the joint body; and a nut body (6) that is attached so as to cover the joint body (4), thereby securing the sleeve (5) in a state of being inserted in the joint body (4). In an end surface at the other end of the joint body (4): an annular insertion groove (14) is formed that allows insertion of a cylindrical end edge of the sleeve (5); a protruding strip section (21) that bulges peripherally outward is formed continuously around the entire circumference of an outer peripheral surface of the sleeve (5) to be inserted into the insertion groove (14); and a tapered section (22) is formed on the one end of an inner peripheral surface of the sleeve. The protruding strip section (21) is formed further toward the other end of the outer peripheral surface of the sleeve (5) than the location where the tapered section (22) is formed.
