Abstract:
[Problem] To reduce pressure differential and pressure pulsation in an oil separator while maintaining an oil separation function without increasing the volume of a fluid compressor. [Solution] A fluid compressor 1 comprises a scroll compressor mechanism 4 in a housing 11, compresses a refrigerant (fluid) by means of the scroll compressor mechanism 4, and discharges the compressed refrigerant out of the housing 11 through a discharge port 20. The fluid compressor comprises a centrifugal oil separator 48 that is provided in the housing 11 and that separates oil mixed in the refrigerant discharged by the scroll compressor mechanism 4, and an expansive outer muffler 25 connected to the discharge port 20 of the housing 11.
