Abstract:
Provided are a fluid dispersion that contains carbon fragments of excellent thermal and electrical conductivity, which can fill a matrix at high concentration and can form a compact network inside said matrix, and a method of manufacturing the same. Disclosed is a fluid dispersion that contains graphitized carbon fragments and a liquid dispersion medium, wherein said graphitized carbon fragments (1) have a thin plate shape with an average thickness of 0.02‑2 µm, (2) an average long-axis length of 1‑100 µm, (3) an average short-axis length of 0.1‑10 µm, (4) an average aspect ratio between the long axis and the short axis of 2‑100, and (5) a crystal grain size (Lc) of 20 nm or greater, derived in the thickness direction of the hexagonal network face of the graphite crystals, and a method of manufacturing the same.
