[Problem] To provide: a fluid dynamic bearing in which a lubricant composition comprising a base oil and an ionic fluid is filled; a spindle motor which is produced by incorporating the fluid dynamic bearing into a spindle motor, is prevented from the evaporation of the lubricant composition provided in the fluid dynamic bearing, and can prevent the occurrence of read/write errors in an HDD; and a disk drive device equipped with the spindle motor. [Solution] Provided is a fluid dynamic bearing in which a lubricant composition comprising a base oil and an ionic fluid is filled, in which the ionic fluid has at least one cation selected from the group consisting of a tetraalkylphosphonium cation and a tetraalkylammonium cation and at least one anion selected from the group consisting of an imide anion, a methide anion and borate anions respectively represented by formulae (C-1) to (C-3). (In the formulae, R9 and R11 independently represent a linear or branched alkyl group; and R10 and R12 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a linear or branched alkyl group.)
