Title:
FLUID HEATER
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/077889
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
A fluid heater according to the present invention includes: a housing with a space formed on the inside and in which an inlet for introducing liquid and an outlet for discharging fluid are formed; a centrifugal accelerating section for heating the liquid, which is introduced via the inlet; and a motor for rotating the centrifugal accelerating section. The centrifugal accelerating section includes a rotation case, which is rotatively disposed in the internal space of the housing and formed in the shape of a cylinder, which has a side wall portion formed with an opening portion toward the inlet, and has a plurality of discharge holes penetratingly formed in the side wall portion such that the liquid, which is introduced through the opening portion, may leak out in a direction intersecting the direction in which the liquid has been introduced; and a plurality of plate-shaped blade plates, which are disposed in parallel to each other at a distance in the direction of the center of rotation of the rotation case so as to generate cavitation. The plates are positioned on the outer periphery of the rotation case and integrally formed with the rotation case. If the plates rotate together with the rotation case, the plates forcedly rotate the liquid, which is discharged from the rotation case via the discharge holes, in the rotation direction of the rotation case by pushing the liquid so that a centrifugal force is applied to the liquid. Therefore, the speed of the liquid discharged via the discharge holes increases so as to generate the cavitation. The discharge holes are formed such that the discharge holes integrally penetrate the blade plates from the inner peripheral surface of the side wall portion. The housing and the motor are disposed spatially apart from each other via the motor shaft of the motor. An end portion of the side wall portion, which faces the inlet, is rotatively supported on the housing by a bearing supporting member.
