Abstract:
[Problem] Provided are: a fluid purification structure using a photocatalyst, the structure enabling improvement of fluid purification effects of a photocatalyst through efficient exposure of the photocatalyst to ultraviolet rays, the structure being capable of achieving a thin and downsized photocatalyst unit comprising a photocatalyst filter and a light radiation part, and the structure having a high degree of freedom in designing flow channel structures; and a photocatalyst unit for use in said structure. [Solution] The present invention is provided with: a photocatalyst filter 3 comprising a corrugated member which has formed therein a plurality of ridges 31 and troughs 32 arranged alternately; a light radiation part 5 which is provided to one end side and/or the other end side of the photocatalyst filter 3 in a direction in which the ridges 31 and the troughs 32 extend; a fluid supply passage 70 through which fluid is supplied to either a front face or a rear face of the photocatalyst filter 3; a fluid discharge passage 71 through which the fluid coming out of the other of the front or rear face of the photocatalyst filter 3 is discharged; and dust collecting filters 4A, 4B which are installed on the inner sides of the fluid supply passage 70 and the fluid exhaust passage 71 and which are disposed so as to face the front and rear faces of the photocatalyst filter 3.
