Abstract:
A fluidized bed device (10) and method for coating particles or granulation. The fluidized bed device (10) comprises a vortex generator (70), and the vortex generator (70) is mounted on a spray nozzle body (62) of the fluidized bed device (10), and passes through an air distributor (40) to be connected to a compressed air source. The vortex generator (70) is provided with a tubular sleeve (71) extending around and surrounding the spray nozzle body (62). An air chamber (74) is defined between the sleeve (71) and the spray nozzle body (62), and the sleeve (71) is provided with multiple guide channel openings (79). Air from the compressed air source passes through the guide channel openings (79) via the air chamber (74) and is guided to spin outward, to provide, in a guided flow cylinder (50) of the fluidized bed device (10), an outward vortex airflow in a circumferential direction with respect to the spray nozzle (60). The device optimizes flow characteristics of a spray pattern and a particle flow pattern in a spray region, thus improving the performance of a fluidized bed.
