Abstract:
This fluidized bed furnace comprises: a fluidized bed unit that combusts fuel; a free board unit positioned above the fluidized bed unit; a fuel feeding port for feeding fuel into the free board unit; and a secondary combustion gas supply unit that blows secondary combustion gas into the free board unit so as to suppress abnormal combustion of fuel in the free board unit, the oxygen concentration of the secondary combustion gas being adjusted using combustion exhaust gas generated by the free board unit.
