Abstract:
An embodiment provides a fluorescence lifetime measuring apparatus comprising: a light generator for generating excitation light to be irradiated on a sample; a collector including a first photo-detector for receiving fluorescent photons which are generated from the sample onto which the excitation light is irradiated and converting the fluorescent photons into a first signal, and a second photo-detector for receiving and converting the excitation light into a second signal; and a signal processor for calculating a fluorescence lifetime by using the first signal and the second signal, wherein the signal processor calculates the fluorescence lifetime by compensating for the response characteristics of the first photo-detector and the response characteristics of the second photo-detector.
