Title:
FLUORESCENT PROTEIN SENSOR CAPABLE OF QUANTITATIVELY MEASURING FREE METHIONINE-R-SULFOXIDE, AND USE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2022/103124
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a fluorescent protein sensor capable of quantitatively measuring free methionine-R-sulfoxide, and to a use thereof. Specifically, the present invention relates to: a recombinant protein which is for a fluorescent biosensor for detecting free methionine-R-sulfoxide, and in which Thioredoxin 1 protein, cpYFP protein, and fRMsr protein are sequentially linked; a fluorescent biosensor which is for detecting free methionine-R-sulfoxide, and which includes the recombinant protein; a composition for detection; a method for quantitatively analyzing free methionine-R-sulfoxide; a method for providing information for diagnosing oxidative stress-related diseases; and a method for screening therapeutic agents for oxidative stress-related diseases. The recombinant protein for a fluorescent biosensor according to the present invention can quantitatively analyze, through fluorescence spectrum analysis, free methionine-R-sulfoxide generated by oxidative stress, and thus can be useful for a fluorescent biosensor for diagnosing oxidative stress diseases, a method for screening an agent for treating oxidative stress diseases, and a method for diagnosing disease prognosis after drug or surgical treatment.
