Abstract:
This fluorescent wheel (1) is provided with a substrate (11) which has a first principle surface and a second principle surface, a fluorescent layer (12) which is provided on the first principle surface, and a heat dissipation member (30D) which, formed from a plate material, is arranged opposite of either the first principal surface or the second principal surface and which is rotated together with the substrate (11). The heat dissipation member (30D) comprises: a protruding part (34) which is disposed in the center of the heat dissipation member (30D) so as to protrude toward the aforementioned either principal surface, and which has a contact surface contacting said either principle surface; and multiple fins (31) which are formed by cutting and turning upwards multiple regions (32D) in the peripheral region but not in the center; each of the multiple regions (32D) has a notch (321) formed by cutting away part of the edge opposite the edge that is continuous with the fins (31). The protruding part (34) ensures a fixed interval between the substrate (11) and the heat dissipation member (30D), and conducts heat of the substrate (11) to the peripheral region of the heat dissipation member (30D).
