Abstract:
Provided is a red-light emitting fluorescent body having a high luminance. This fluoride fluorescent body has a first compositional makeup that includes Si, Al, Mn, F, and alkali metals including K. In the first compositional makeup, when the total number of moles of the alkali metals is set to 2, the total number of moles of Si, Al, and Mn is 0.9-1.1, the number of moles of Al is more than 0 but not more than 0.1, the number of mole of Mn is more than 0 but not more than 0.2, and the number of mole of F is 5.9-6.1. The fluoride fluorescent body has a cubic crystal structure, and has a lattice constant of 0.8138 nm or more.
