Abstract:

A process for preparing compounds (I) by radical addition of 3-(allyloxy)methyl-3-alkyloxetanes (1) with RfI, in formula (A), R is alkyl having 1 to 3 carbon atoms; and Rf is linear or branched fluoroalkyl having 1 to 18 carbon atoms. The compounds (I) are useful as intermediates in the production of various fluorine-containing functional materials.
