Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a fluorine-containing coating material composition with which it is possible to form a coating film that has exceptional water repellency; and an article having a coating film formed of the fluorine-containing coating material composition. The fluorine-containing coating material composition includes a fluorine-containing polymer (A) having structural units (α1) based on a fluoroolefin (a1) (excluding the following monomer (a3)), structural units (α2) based on a monomer (a2) that has a crosslinkable group and lacks a fluorine atom, structural units based on a monomer (a3) represented by CX1X2=CX3-CF3 (where X1 to X3 are each independently a hydrogen atom, a chlorine atom, or a fluorine atom, and at least one of X1 to X3 is a hydrogen atom), and structural units (α4) based on a monomer (a4) in which an alkyl group and a polymerizable unsaturated group are linked through an ether bond or through an ester bond.
