Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an amorphous fluorine-containing elastomer having excellent amine resistance and cold resistance. The present invention is an amorphous fluorine-containing elastomer characterized by being a copolymer comprising a vinylidene fluoride unit, a fluorine-containing monomer (1) unit represented by general formula (1): CH2=CFRf (1) (wherein Rf is a straight-chained or branched fluoroalkyl group comprising 1–12 carbon atoms), and a tetrafluoroethylene unit; the elastomer having a vinylidene fluoride unit/fluorine-containing monomer (1) unit/tetrafluoroethylene unit molar ratio of (85–75)/(23–13)/(0.1–6), and a glass transition temperature of –5°C or less.
