Abstract:
A fluorophosphate glass, a glass preform made using the glass, an optical element made using the glass or the glass preform, and an optical instrument having the optical element. The glass comprises: cations and anions; the cations comprise: 20-40 mol% of P5+, 5-25 mol% of Al3+, 5-20 mol% of Ba2+, 15-35 mol% of Li+, 1-15 mol% of Na+, 0-8 mol% of Y3+, and 0-15 mol% of Zn2+; the anions comprise: 25-45 mol% of F- and 55-75 mol% of O2-, wherein n(Y3++Al 3+)/n(Zn2++Ba2++P5+ is not lower than 0.27.
