Abstract:
A surface treating agent comprising a fluoropolyether-group-containing polymer represented by formula (1) and/or a partial (hydrolysis) condensation product thereof enables the formation of a cured coating film having excellent water/oil-repellent properties, excellent eraser abrasion resistance, and excellent steel wool abrasion resistance. (Rf represents a monovalent or bivalent fluoroxyalkylene-group-containing polymer residue; B represents a bivalent organic group; V represents C, Si, N, or an organic group having a valency of 3 to 8; E represents a monovalent group having an oxyalkylene group; R' represents H, OH, an alkyl group, a phenyl group, an alkoxy group, or a halogen atom; U represents a single bond, or a bivalent organic group; Z represents a single bond, C, Si, N, or an organic group having a valency of 3 to 8; Y represents O, S, Si, or a bivalent hydrocarbon group which may have a siloxane bond; R represents an alkyl group, or a phenyl group; X represents a hydroxyl group, or a hydrolysable group; n represents 1 to 3; m represents 1 to 7; α represents 1 or 2; β represents 1 to 6; γ represents 0 or 1; and δ represents 1 or 2.)
