Title:
FLUOROPOLYMER POWDER AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2018/070420
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Provided is a powder which can be easily redispered in a liquid medium such as water. This fluoropolymer powder is characterized in that the fluoropolymer has at least one group A selected from the group consisting of -SO2Y, -COOR, -SO3X, -SO2NR1
2, and -COOX (where, Y represents a halogen atom, R represents an alkyl group having a carbon atom number of 1-4, X represents M1/L or NR1
4, M represents a hydrogen atom or an L-valent metal, the L-valent metal being a metal belonging to Group 1, 2, 4, 8, 11, 12 or 13 of the Periodic Table, and each R1 independently represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having a carbon atom number of 1-4), and the degree of dispersion of a composition obtained by mixing the powder and water is at least 50% as measured by filtering the composition through a mesh having an opening size of 20 μm.
