Abstract:
Provided is a fluororubber composition containing, relative to 100 parts by weight of a fluororubber, 1-100 parts by weight of a needle-like filler or fibrous filler having an average particle diameter of 5 μm or lower, an average particle length of 40-60 μm and an aspect ratio of 10-12. A vulcanized fluororubber molded article obtained from this fluororubber composition exhibits resistance to deformation due to the shape effect of the filler, thereby enabling deformation in the sliding direction of the sliding surface of an oil seal to be suppressed and achieving a reduction in torque after abrasion by generating a good lubricated state on the sliding surface. More specifically, it is possible to achieve a reduction in friction while maintaining sealing properties by means of an increase in the oil pumping amount from when an oil seal is initially used until after abrasion.
