Abstract:
This fluororubber composition contains, per 100 parts by weight of a peroxide-crosslinkable fluororubber, 0.5-10 parts by weight of an organic peroxide and 10-50 parts by weight of a wollastonite that is acicular or fibrous, that has an average fiber diameter of 5 μm or less and an average fiber length of 40-80 μm, and that is surface-treated by using an aminosilane coupling agent or an epoxy silane coupling agent. The fluororubber composition is suitably used as a material for molding an oil seal for bidirectional rotation which can tightly keep a fluid sealed even during both forward and reverse rotational operation.
