Abstract:
Flyer bow (1) for a wire-braiding or cable-twisting machine, comprising a bow member (2) that has a groove (3) extending essentially along the entire longitudinal extension of the flyer bow (1) in the longitudinal direction of the flyer bow (1). The flyer bow (1) comprises a tubular guiding element (4), especially a coil spring, for guiding the elongate strand-type material that is placed in the groove (3) without interruption, essentially along the entire longitudinal extension of the groove (3). The inner dimensions of the groove (3) at any point along the longitudinal extension of the guiding element (4) are greater than or equal to the outer dimensions of the guiding element (4) at the same point. This makes it easy to remove and introduce, preferably pull out and insert, the guiding element (4) from and into the groove (3).
