Abstract:
The invention provides a flying-fish airboat comprising of a hull, airfoils disposed on boch sides of the hull, a rudder which is formed on the rear end of the hull and has a shape of prolate cylinder, and one or more screw propellers formed under the rudder; wherein the hull is above water surface when the airboat is flying. The advantages of present invention lie in: compared with the prior art, the propeller power is under the water and the hull is in the air, so it can reduce the drag and energy consumption, increase the running speed, reduce the noise, and alleviate the surge phenomena behind the hull. The structure of flying-fish airboat is simple and the airboat has broad range of application. It can be not only a novel hydro-transport facility, but also a sport equipment which can be used in a sport match.
