Abstract:
Provided is a flying mobile body 1 that comprises a body 3 and a plurality of rotor blade units 2 mounted to the body 3. The rotor blade units 2 each have rotor blades 20 and a cylindrical body 10 that covers the rotor blades 20. During a horizontal flight, the axial direction in which the rotation center axis of the rotor blades 20 extends and the vertical direction intersect with each other. The cylindrical body 10 has provided thereto through holes 16 that extend along the axial direction, penetrate between the outer circumference and the inner circumference of the cylindrical body 10, and are located above the rotor blades 20. Each of the rotor blade units 2 is equipped with a valve that opens and closes the through holes 16. The valve opens the through holes 16 when the air pressure of the inside of the cylindrical body is lower than that of the outside of the cylindrical body 10, and closes the through holes 16 when the air pressure of the inside of the cylindrical body is equal to or greater than that of the outside of the cylindrical body 10.
