Abstract:
Provided is a flying vehicle location monitoring system that can ensure midflight safety of a flying vehicle under monitoring even in circumstances where the current location or the like of the flying vehicle can no longer be ascertained. This flying vehicle location monitoring system is provided with: a body model database storing a plurality of flying vehicle body models; a body model acquisition unit for acquiring, from the body model database, either a body model of a flying vehicle under monitoring or a body model of a flying vehicle of high similarity to the flying vehicle under monitoring; a spatial information generation unit for generating spatial information affecting operation of the flying vehicle on the basis of environmental information of a flight path of the flying vehicle under monitoring; a location inference unit for inferring the location of the flying vehicle at respective times on the basis of the body model, the spatial information, the weight of the flying vehicle, and information specifying the flight path; and an update unit for updating the body model on the basis of the difference between the location of the flying vehicle at each of the times as inferred by the location inference unit and the location of the flying vehicle at each of the times as actually measured by the flying vehicle or by a flying vehicle monitoring sensor.
