Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1994/000344
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The invention relates to the aviation industry and may be used for making ultra-light flying vehicles, in particular, vehicles without a power unit in their power structure, landing gear and control system. A flying vehicle comprises a fuselage (1) in the form of atube with a central vertical post also in the form of a tube of the same cross section as that of the tube of the fuselage, and a tubular spar (5) of the wing (6). Each cantilever of the wing (6) is hingedly mounted by its spar (5) on a post (2) on a distanced hinge (7). A vertical mast (8) is mounted on the post (2) on a longitudinally oriented hinge (9). The mast (8) is of adjustable length with the possibility of its fixing in a desired position. A V-shaped brace (10) is secured by its diverging ends at two points on the tube of the fuselage (1) and at the point "O" of connection of the braces to the tubular spar (5) of the wing (6) which is located within the range of 0.3-0.4 of the half-span of the latter. The brace (11) connects the upper point of the mast (8) with the point "O" of connection of the braces (10 and 11) on the spar (5). The point "O" of connection of the braces (10 and 11) is located within the range of 0.3-0.4 of the half-span of the wing (6).
