Abstract:
Purposes of the present invention are: to provide molded foam of an aromatic polyester resin, the molded foam having excellent mechanical properties; to provide foamed particles of an aromatic polyester resin which are for producing the molded foam; and to provide a method for producing the foamed particles. The present invention relates to foamed particles of an aromatic polyester resin, in each of which a center portion has a crystallinity (A) of 10% or less, a surface layer portion has a crystallinity (B) of 10% or less, and the ratio of the crystallinity of the surface layer portion to the crystallinity of the center portion, B/A, is 0.3-1.4.
