Abstract:
Provided are a focus control device, an imaging device, a focus control method, and a focus control program capable of acquiring the intended result of a focusing operation while making it possible to focus on the eye region. The focus control device comprises: a focus position determination unit 34 for determining a focus position on the basis of a captured image signal acquired by imaging elements 5 capturing an object while the focus lens is being moved; and an AF region determination unit 33 for determining an AF region on the basis of a face region detected from a captured image signal captured by the imaging elements 5 at an arbitrary point in time, and an eye region detected from a captured image signal captured at a point in time prior to the arbitrary point in time. The focus lens is driven so as to move to a focus position determined by the focus position determination unit 34 on the basis of a signal in the AF region.
