Embodiments of the present application relate to the technical field of imaging, and provide a focusing motor, a closed-loop control method for a focusing motor, and a camera device. The focusing motor comprises: a rotor support (1) and a rotor plate (3) disposed thereon, a stator (2) and first and second stator plates (41, 42) disposed thereon, and a processing unit connected to the rotor plate (3) and the first and second stator plates (41, 42). The rotor plate (3), the first stator plate (41) and the second stator plate (42) are all oppositely disposed, and facing areas change with movement of the rotor support (1). In a focusing direction, the first stator plate (41) and the second stator plate (42) are both longer than the rotor plate (3). The processing unit controls the rotor support (1) to move in the focusing direction, according to capacitance signals of a first capacitance formed by the rotor plate (3) and the first stator plate (41) and a second capacitance formed by the rotor plate (3) and the second stator plate (42).
