Abstract:
Provided is a foil transfer device having a new function. A foil transfer device 1 is provided with: a supply reel 31 on which a foil film F including foil is wound; a winding-up reel 35 for winding up the foil film F from the supply reel 31; a foil transfer unit 50 that superimposes a sheet S on the foil film F transported toward the winding-up reel 35 from the supply reel 31 to transfer foil onto a toner image formed on the sheet S; and a reading sensor 100 capable of reading an image of the sheet S passing through a transporting path for the sheet S.
