Abstract:
The invention relates to a folding box (K1 to K8) for accommodating objects, which folding box is folded from a foldable folding template (M), comprising: a bottom (2), and a plurality of side wall regions (30), which each form a part of a side wall (3) of the folding box (1) and which are each connected to the bottom (2) by means of a first valley fold (T) and stick out from the bottom. According to the invention, one side wall region (30) is connected to another side wall region (30) adjacent thereto by means of two fold-over regions (32a, 32b) connected by means of a second valley fold (T'), wherein the one side wall region (30) is connected to a fold-over region (32a) of the two fold-over regions (32a, 32b) by means of a first mountain fold (B), and wherein the other side wall region (30) is connected to the other fold-over region (32b) of the two fold-over regions (32a, 32b) by means of a third valley fold (T''), and wherein the two fold-over regions (32a, 32b) are folded onto each other by means of the second valley fold (T'), and wherein the one fold-over region (32a) is folded about the first mountain fold (B) onto the one side wall region (30), and wherein the other fold-over region (32b) is folded about the third valley fold (T'') likewise onto the one side wall region (30). The invention further relates to a folding template (M) and to a method for producing a folding box.
