Abstract:
A foldable device (100), comprising a first housing (10), a second housing (20), a rotating shaft component (30), and a flexible protecting element (40). A flexible cover plate (41) of the flexible protecting element (40) covers the surface of the rotating shaft component (30). A flexible side plate (42) of the flexible protecting element (40) covers the lateral surfaces of the rotating shaft component (30). Moreover, the flexibility of the flexibly cover plate (41) is different from the flexibility of the flexible side plate (42); this allows the flexible protecting element (40), when undergoing a flexible distension when bent with the rotating shaft component (30), to limit the rebound of the flexible side plate (42) via the flexible cover plate (41), or to limit the rebound of the flexible cover plate (41) via the flexible side plate (42), so as to mitigate the rebound of the flexible protecting element (40) after the flexible distension, thus allowing the foldable device (100) to be kept easily at any bending angle.
