Abstract:
According to various embodiments, an electronic device comprises: a first housing; a second housing: at least one hinge device for connecting the first housing and the second housing so that same are foldable with respect to each other along a folding axis; a hinge housing for accommodating the at least one hinge device; a flexible display including a first area corresponding to the first housing, a second area corresponding to the second housing, and a foldable folding area for connecting the first area and the second area; and at least one protection member which is coupled to the hinge housing so as to be rotatable around a rotational axis that is parallel to the folding axis in an area corresponding to the folding area, and which is formed of a material that is at least partially deformable according to the folding of the electronic device, wherein the at least one protection member can be disposed to at least partially overlap on the edge of the flexible display in the folding area when the flexible display is viewed from above.
