Abstract:
A foldable electronic device according to various embodiments comprises: a first housing; a second housing that is connected to the first housing so as to be foldable about a designated axis and changes the overall shape of the electronic device; a sensor that detects the folding state of the electronic device; a display comprising a flexible display that is divided into a first region and a second region by the designated axis, and at least a portion of which can be folded about the designated axis; and a processor. The processor can: detect the folding state of the electronic device by using the sensor; on the basis of the folding state, determine the region on the display that is to receive an input for displaying a quick panel and the region on the display that is to display the quick panel; determine the configuration of the quick panel by determining, on the basis of the application that is running, components to be included in the quick panel; and display the quick panel having the determined configuration in the determined region in response to receiving, in the determined region, an input for displaying the quick panel. Various other embodiments are also possible.
